I didn't swaddle my boys (didn't think about it for the first one, and the second one had reflux and had to sleep on his tummy on an incline), but I'm still swaddling my baby girl, at 5 months. It's awesome. I don't have a special blanket, but I do have a Carter's sleep sack that we received as a gift. I don't put her arms in the sleeves, and then tie them across her chest. Then I burrito wrap her with a stretchy receiving blanket, and she can move her legs only a little and her arms not at all. And she sleeps alllll night long, and has since 7 weeks. I only swaddle her at night, though.
