Snowman on a Stick

Somehow in the last fifteen years I stopped thinking about snow as something delightful and instead began viewing it as something that gums up my life and makes driving a pain.

One of the great things about being a mother is that you get to see everything through the eyes of a child again. Snow! It's awesome! It's free-- it just falls from the sky. And you can play with it for hours and hours! Isn't that amazing?

Well, okay, there's a limit to how far I revert. They can play with it for hours and hours while I stay inside and work on their Christmas pajamas. Then I'll take pictures of their creativity.

I love this one. It never would have even occurred to me to make a snowman on a stick.
