One of Roo's favorite songs lately is the one that goes: "Pioneer children sang as they walked and walked and walked...." Bean often sings it to her at bed time. One of these days I'm going to make her a pioneer dress, but in the mean time she has this cute sunbonnet Aunt Crocodile sent her.

Somewhere in my stash of seldom-used sewing stuff I have a pioneer dress pattern. It's for an adult, but if I remember right, there was a girl's pattern included with (mother/daughter type photo on the cover). I know it included an apron and a bonnet pattern with it, too. I can try to dig it up and send it out your way if you are interested.
Soooo CUTE!!! Pioneer would make a perfect Halloween costume for her!
